Haven't revisited this one in a while because the consistent growth of freedom.fit has kept me very occupied with many other step workouts. So it surprised me to see my previous comment from nearly two years ago. And honestly, that was the same way I felt doing this workout today. Love, love, love it!! I have too many favorites, so I'll have to keep changing my mind, or either just agree with you when you frequently say about the moves/combos - "I love them all." Thank you again for keeping step aerobics fun and current and not letting it slide into oblivion like some past workout crazes have. I will always love step workouts and your instruction style!πŸ‘πŸ™‚

This was alot of fun! Doing these workouts at higher altitudes has to be pretty challenging for you - heck, I'm at a low altitude and really working! That final combo was step-love special for me - I really enjoyed how well you flowed into the spin move. Again, thank you for putting these together! So glad step has not disappeared completely from the workout scene!

Go Phaedra! I'm about to get started on another of these (I'm just picking at random each time). Great observations.Β πŸ™‚

Thank you so much Jenny, that's encouraging. I wanted to ask you, I recall on a few of your videos I've seen that you mentioned the bpm of the song. Is that something you would consider adding to the description of any of the current videos?

Resolution Day 22! Another day, another great step workout. I liked this one, the squatting was a pretty cool addition to the last combo. The box step was causing me to almost trip because of the angle and trying to get back into position at the bench, so I just did the four marches there instead (could be due to my big feet). πŸ˜†Thanks for putting this together, great job!πŸ‘

Hi Phaedra! Don't you just love step?! I definitely do. 😁 Holding light weights during step is a fantastic idea, I do that too! Haven't tried the ankle weights before, that also sounds like a good idea! I really needed to ramp up the anaerobic activity as much as possible, and adding the resistance sections has helped a lot. I've also decided to track my resolution progress through the comment section of each workout I do in order to engage with the community & for extra accountability. Thank you for your reply, feel free to say hi anytime! πŸ˜€ And all the best with your fitness journey.

Resolution Day 9 down! This year I've had to get serious about adding regular strength training (which I find super boring), so I am either doing your step with weights workouts, or doing one of the other step workouts and just inserting a separate strength session between combos. It's working well so far. Thanks for all you do!πŸ‘

Made it to πŸ‘47:13 , right till the beginning of the weave. I'll make it a goal to do the weave on the next go around. This one is bunches of fun! The more challenging choreography distracts me into thinking so much that I can hardly tell that I'm working hard, rather than just having a blast! This is Day 8 of my New Year's Resolution, and this was a great workout. Thanks!

Enjoyed doing this one for the first time today. Because the step sections were less intense, I just added a set of risers to get max cardio effect. Thanks for this!

You're always so gracious when you introduce a starter move that seems simple (just after the 18 min mark you introduce alt knee lifts on the same end of the bench) - you explained "there's a reason why we're doing this πŸ˜€". Having stepped with you for quite some time, it builds excitement for me when you introduce a "simple" move into an intermediate workout because I already know something super fun is coming - and you didn't disappoint! Step is so mentally satisfying for me while doing your programs. Thank you for keeping it going for such a long time.Β
