Check-in, what’s your next workout? For me, heavy weights! 💪 10 years ago, this picture was taken.

It’s bittersweet—you can see a glimpse of our oldest son (no longer with us earth side) holding a fan for my Beyoncé 🌟 moment, as instructed by his dad.

That’s how we’ve always done things: as a family, showing up to support one another in what matters most. ♥️

The same is true for our fitness family. We show up for each other. We celebrate the wins, we push through the hard days, and we remind each other why we started. Whether it’s your first online class with us, or your hundredth, you’re not just working out—you’re part of something bigger.

Because #togetherwearestronger. Because #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

This community is family. And just like our son holding the fan, we’re all here to help each other shine.

Do you! 🌟The world needs your version, not a copy of someone else’s. As a brand new, baby fitness instructor, I was taught that it was wrong to use notes when teaching classes. It was looked at as not being prepared. Countless hours were spent practicing and memorizing choreography. When we filmed our first in-studio workout, a very advanced dance-based step workout, with many intricate changes, I practiced 100s of times. So much brain 🧠 power went into remembering the moves, I often wonder if having the workout written out would have allowed me to breath a little easier, relax, and communicate with the “participants” a little more as we filmed.

Now we film Step and Walk workouts all across the world! 🌍 🌎 On these trips we sometimes film 20-30 workouts. With the way my brain works, if I didn’t have notes, these filming trips would never work!

It’s a good life lesson that we aren’t made to be like everyone else! Knowing what works for each of us is exactly what we should be doing!

What’s been your experience with this? Is there anything you do differently than those around you? Would love to hear! ♥️

Tell us your secret! If you work out in the morning, do you do anything special to prepare yourself for your workout the night before to make sure it gets done the next day? We’d love to hear any tips or tricks you have. And what’s on your workout schedule today?

Which workout location for our Step & Walk Across America 🇺🇸 Program would you like to have changed? It was an amazing feat to get to all 50 states to film workouts, but we were working under budgetary and time constraints. And a good portion of the program was filmed right after the COVID lockdown. It would be fun to hear which locations you’d like us to re-do. So far we’ve redone the first workout for both Step & Walk Across America. Thanks for your input!

For anyone facing Grief and Loss at this time, we send you so much love. ❤️ Feel free to use our Grief and Loss Yoga Series available on the App.

🦋 Session 1 of 7 | Winter: Awareness in Body and Mind 🦋

Our first session begins in the cold of winter. Grief manifests in the body as physical symptoms—often as pain and tightness in the chest and throat, disrupted sleep, shallow breathing, frequent sighing, fatigue, and exhaustion. Our nervous systems shift into survival mode, a state of threat and danger.

Who does your heart miss today? As we begin, picture them in your mind’s eye—perhaps during a happy time. See their face, say their name. Feel free to hold your loved one’s name in your heart throughout the entire practice.

What does your heart miss today? Sometimes we find ourselves in a space where life has not gone as planned. We must allow ourselves to grieve what will never be.

Movement Descriptions:

Movement 1: Grounding and Centering with Breath

Movement 2: Noticing Emotions

Movement 3: Tension Release in Jaw

Movement 4: Tension Release in Neck and Shoulders

Movement 5: Grief Release Side Arm Raise

Movement 6: Grief Release Front Arm Raise

Movement 7: Tension Release Upper Body Joint Rotation

Movement 8: Balance with Seated Cat/Cow

Movement 9: Tension Release Lower Body Joint Rotation

Movement 10: Anxiety Release Seated Spinal Twists

Movement 11: Balancing Lateral Side Stretch

Meditation and Visualization: Awareness

Wyoming Take Two 🏔️, Step Across America 1 of 50

We came back to give this workout the backdrop it deserved—and wow, did the Tetons deliver.

Here’s what filming 50 workouts in 50 states has taught me: the location changes, but the work stays the same. Whether you’re stepping it out with mountain views behind you or in your living room at 6am before the kids wake up, you’re showing up. And that’s everything.

The Tetons are stunning, but you know what’s more impressive? The person who presses play on a Tuesday when they really don’t feel like it. The one who listens to their body and modifies when they need to. The one who recommits after taking time off.

So when you show up for yourself and the ones you love, remember: you’re creating something powerful—consistency, strength, and a version of yourself who refuses to quit.

Where are you pressing play today? Drop your location below 👇

The October 2025 Fitness Challenge starts soon. Excited to start off this new month together!

For the month, each day there will be a set work out for the day. Cardio days will be a variety of walking or stepping workouts to get our hearts pumping. Weight training days we’ll either target the upper or lower body or have a total body strength training session. For flexibility days we’ll enjoy yoga flow using our breath as we improve flexibility, mobility and stability. There will always be one restorative yoga/flexibility day per week.

As always, listen to your body, and consider giving yourself an active rest day at least once a week.

This will be a great place to connect with others who are also taking on this challenge.

Commit today to protect your beautiful heart, reduce stress this month, and just feel overall better. Let us know if you have any questions.

5 years ago we had a dream. Film Walk Across America, 30 minute cardio at-home workouts, in all 50 states. It was an amazing feeling to film at amazing locations all across America. Our dream has gotten even bigger. We now have walking workouts in Canada, the UK, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. Hoping to continue our travels across the world, where we’ll be able to continue this amazing journey of health and wellness with each of you. Dare to dream big, and then dare to dream even bigger.
