I have been on HRT for several years started taking it during perimenopause like you and my doctor recommended it because of my problems sleeping at night and she didn’t really relate to my joint achiness like you were talking about your hips and joints aching but the more I have researched it it’s definitely a thing. Right away that’s where I noticed the big improvement. My doctor is the same age as me which is 62 now and she takes it as well and said she will never stop. They would have to pry it out of her hands lol! I do feel bad for those women who are afraid to take it and like you said 20 years ago, it was such a taboo subject.

And then speaking of the flow state I can totally relate to that as well. It makes me think about Leslie Sansone. I used to do her walking videos a lot and she said she got the best, smartest ideas when she was walking and I think that’s probably what she meant by that. So great to clear your mind like that. Thanks again. I’ll be listening for future podcasts Jenny!

On day two, and I was reluctant to do the step because I have a ‘bad’ knee. I used to do step exclusively and probably hurt myself from overuse! But I used a very low step and I have not had a workout like that in a long time! I am sweating my heart is pumping and I feel great. Thank you for pushing us to try new things Jenny!
