Day 7 is a Reatorative Yoga session in Hawaii. On these days, it’s considered an Active Rest day. One day a week we take a “rest day” and have the option to do Restorative Yoga. If you’d like to shift the “rest day” to a different day each week, to fit your schedule, that works as well. Check-in and let us know when you complete this day.

Day 6 is a strength training day for the lower body. Warm-up first then move on to two more segments targeting the lower body. Finish with a cool down and stretch. Check in when you get it done. ✅

May 2025 Fitness Challenge

Welcome amazing Freedom Fit friends to our
next 31 Day Fitness Challenge. We're starting off this new month together! You'll notice for each of our cardio days, we'll be doing a variety of walking or stepping workouts. On weight training days we’ll either target the upper or lower body or have a total body strength training session. Our flexibility days will give us the opportunity to slow down and breathe as well as improve flexibility, mobility and stability. On the restorative yoga/fkexibility days listen to your body, and consider giving yourself an active rest day at least once a week

Keep yourself accountable by checking in daily. This is a great place to connect with others who are also taking on this challenge.

Commit today to protect your beautiful heart, reduce stress this month, and just feel overall better. Look forward to reading your daily check-in's.

Day 30 is a total body weight 51 minute workout. We’ll use one heavy and one light set of dumbbells, and the option to use a kettlebell as well. Follow Jenny for modifications, and the back-up exercisers for a little more challenge. Be sure to turn on your favorite music if you like, as this workout was filmed with a simple beat track. Day 28 is a RestorativeYoga session that is gentle and helps us to slow down and breathe and stretch. This is our chance to have an active rest day. If you’d like to take a full rest day, listen to your body and do what’s best.

Feel free to adjust this day, move it to a day that makes sense for your schedule. Typically we try to have one rest day per week. Check-in when you get it done, and let us know what you’re doing today. ❤️
