Hi Tyler

Found this brief explanation on Quora...

Canada speaks French primarily due to its history as a former French colony. In the 17th century, France established settlements in what is now eastern Canada, including Quebec. Under French colonial rule, the French language and culture became deeply rooted in these regions.

In 1763, France ceded its North American colonies to Britain following the Seven Years' War. However, the Treaty of Paris allowed the French-speaking population in Canada to maintain their language and customs. This led to the continued use of French, especially in the province of Quebec, even after Canada became part of the British Commonwealth.

The French-speaking population in Canada has fought to preserve its language and cultural identity over the centuries. This is reflected in Canada's official bilingual status, with both English and French recognized as the country's official languages. Today, approximately 22% of Canadians speak French as their first language, with the majority residing in Quebec.

The coexistence of English and French in Canada is a result of this complex historical legacy, where the French language and culture were able to persist alongside British political and economic influence in the country.

Amazing workout with some great cardio sections, certainly got the heart rate up. Love the look, lime green leg warmers - so nostalgic for the Jane Fonda workouts and original Gin Miller step moves. Makes it so much more relevant now I've actually seen the movie 😅

Jenny Ford Hi Jenny finally got to watch Footloose, what a really great film, didn't realise Kevin Bacon was so athletic with both the dance moves and gymnastics. Very foot tapping score. I can see now where your inspiration for incorporating some of these into this routine came from. Also had no idea SJP was also in this film. Looking forward so much to your next routines in this series 😺

Super fun workout. Love the 80's vibe with the outfit, legwarmers and headband. Great theme and references to the film. Confession, never seen Footloose before, now need to seek it out on a streaming platform 😁

These are great sessions in this latest M2M programme. Never thought I'd ever do strength training, but as you get older become aware of the benefits to whole body and health. When I started the other programmes kept to weights of 0.5, 1 and 1.5 kg. The M2M programme has given me confidence to very slowly increase the weights and now easily managing 2, 3 and 4 kg weights for my light medium and heavy options. Now these sessionss are a bit longer great to see set alternatively each day as upper and lower body routines - and incorporating the step bench too, if you have one. Still also doing a step sessions as well for the cardio Thanks for the variety of different options of exercise and new rotines to choose from. So glad I found you 18 months ago ❤️
